The Marie Sharp's Tourist Center & Culinary Class hopes to promote authentic Belizean food and culture as you discover the plethora of activities in San Ignacio. Come enjoy a balance of vibrant local food, music and a local chef as you wine and dine in a local atmosphere.
One of our primary classes teaches you to make the main cultural dish embrace by all ethnic group in Belize: rice and beans, stew chicken, potato salad and fry plantain. A Belizean bread pudding glazed lightly with Marie Sharp's mango jam and our very own rum sauce is also prepared for dessert. You also get to taste local wines such as the infamous cashew wine, sorrel, malley apple and wax apple wines, all local fruits.

Classes hours are:
Monday - Sunday
9:00 a.m. and 5:00p.m.
Mininum of 2 persons. If you wish to participate on another time, feel free to contact us. Cost is $40.00 USD per person.
